TAX AND LEGAL TEAM

Henry Gultom joined Mustoffa Hasan & Partners (MHP) as a tax advisor in 2022.

Gultom has handled tax matters for one of the international affiliated companies in Indonesia on tax cases related to the importation of animal health products. He also handled tax matters for a foundation related to regional organizations.

Gultom brings a wealth of expertise and experience, having worked in international and regional organizations and the private sector in corporate affairs, policy, development cooperation, project management, talent management, and legal affairs.

Gultom has served clients dealing with animal health, food, and agriculture sector, assisting them with their legal, regulatory, and policy issues in Indonesia and ASEAN countries.

Gultom served as the Assistant Resident Representative, United Nations Development Program (UNDP) from 1985 to 1996. Subsequently, he headed Corporate Affairs position at the ASEAN Secretariat from 1999 to 2013. Concurrently, he is also a Senior Advisor, Market Access, and Regulatory Affairs for the U.S. Dairy Export Council based in Indonesia.

Gultom holds a master’s in public policy degree from the National University of Singapore, a Law degree from the Bhayangkara University in Jakarta, and a Bachelor of Management degree from the National University in Jakarta. In addition, he is a licensed advocate and solicitor in Indonesia. Gultom is well acquainted with Indonesia Tax Law as he is a qualified tax consultant and has been licensed as a Tax Court Attorney.
